Adopting an animal from the Pratt Area Humane Society

All individuals/families interested in adopting a PAHS animal must complete an adoption application. Our adoption form is available on our form page.

Our fees are $160 for an adult dog and $150 for a puppy under the age of 6 months. It includes spay/neuter, rabies shot and its initial shots when it comes in to the shelter. The shots include parvo-distemper and bordetella. The dog also gets wormed and advantage flea treatment. We also heartworm test the adult dogs. The dog comes with a free 30 day healthcare policy from Pet-Health. The dog will be microchipped if the adopter wishes. In most cases the pet will be spayed/neutered at our shelter before you can take the pet home.If you are outside Pratt County we will consider a $100 deposit on the spay/neuter so that you won’t have to come back for the pet.

The adoption fee for a cat is $75 for a male and $100 for a female. It includes spay/neuter, rabies shot. The cat will have it initial intake shots which is Feline Intranasal, Panluekopenia and Revolution . We test the cat for Feline Luekemia. The cat comes with a free 30 day healthcare policy from Pet-Health.
